Hayley - Hi I'm 23 years old and a primary school teacher from Warrington, Cheshire. I assist with running a Guide and a Ranger unit which I love and I'm one of the leaders on the Ghana trip which im SO excited about! In my free time I like walking my dogs, I'm learning how to ski and also attempting to learn to ride a unicycle!
Emily- Hi, I’m 24 years old and training to be a Primary school teacher. I live in Formby but assist with the running of a Brownie unit in St Helens. I love sports and play hockey and netball. This is my first international trip with Guiding but I have done lots of travelling before! I’m the latest addition to Team Ghana and I CANNOT wait to go!
Ellie Hello I'm 19 years old and in my second year of studying English Language and Literature at the University of Sunderland. I'm a Guide leader in Burnley and in Sunderland I am President of the student Scout and Guide group. I'm always busy with volunteering and absolutely can't wait for going to Ghana.
Elizabeth I'm 17 years old and currently at Sixth Form studying for my A-levels. I've been involved in Guiding since Brownies and am now a Young Leader at 2nd Ansdell Rainbows. I love tae kwon do, skiing and music and I am so excited about visiting Ghana!
Claire I'm 16 years old and I've been in Guiding since I joined the Rainbows aged 5, I'm now a young leader at 1st Whitehaven Guides. I love music, my main instrument is violin but I've just started learning the organ. I'm currently in the lower sixth studying for A Levels, and going to Ghana will be a great experience after exams are over!
Nat Hi! I'm nat, I'm 15 and can't stop telling people I'm going to Ghana! I go to Birkenhead school which is on the Wirral and will have just finished me GCSE in the summer.
I play a lot of hockey, some say too much, but I disagree! At school I play for the second team boys as the girls don't have a team, but it's a good competitive sport. I also play county hockey as well, my dream is to play for England!
I've been doing girl guides ever since I was a rainbow, and I can still remember doing my leap across the rainbow to move up to brownies! Now being in rangers, has given me this massive opportunity to go to Ghana I'm so excited!! Bring on the summer of 2013!!!!
Leah- Hey! I'm Leah, 17 years old, nearly 18 :D I'm super excited for Ghana as this is my first time to Africa and also my first international trip within Girl Guiding UK. I have been a brownie from the age of 5 and then went on to become Brownie, Guide, Young Leader and i am just finishing of my leader qualification. I'm currently working towards a-levels and i love playing hockey and other outdoor sports!

Laura- Hi, I'm 16, and a young leader at Endmoor Brownies and Arnside Guides. I play saxophone, and enjoy sailing and walking, and I LOVE Harry Potter. I have been involved in Girlguiding since joining the rainbows when I was 5.I am currently in the sixth form, studying for my A Levels.
I am very excited about going to Ghana this summer- it will be so interesting to see such a different part of the world, and amazing to feel that I have helped to make a difference.

Cara- I'm Cara, I am 16 and I am currently doing my GCSE's. My favourite subjects are maths and science and I am going to study them at A Level. I am a young leader at a Rainbow unit and I am a member of Jodrell Senior section, I love helping at Rainbows and look forward to going all week! I absolutely love being out doors, I enjoy rock climbing, walking, running, swimming and kayaking. I am an artistic and creative person and in my spare time I like to draw and paint.
Rebecca- Hi, I am 16 years old and am a young leader to Bollington rainbows. They are very cute, and I love seeing their smiley faces every week! I also meet with my senior section unit fortnightly. I am currently in year 11, and can't wait to finish my amazing but hardworking year with a fantastic trip with some fantastic people! :) I love my saxophone (like Laura) called Janey :D and love listening and playing music. I am so excited for our Ghana trip... But enjoying every step of the way!
